UAE links patient records across Riayati, Malaffi and NABIDH

A national interoperability push connects records from thousands of facilities on a single FHIR-based platform.

1 min read

At Arab Health, UAE health authorities announced deep integration between the federal Riayati platform and the emirate systems Malaffi (Abu Dhabi) and NABIDH (Dubai), letting clinicians access a patient's history regardless of where care was delivered.

Riayati, the National Unified Medical Record, now spans billions of records for millions of patients across thousands of facilities, built on a FHIR-based architecture for secure, standardised exchange.

Richer, interoperable clinical data raises the bar for claims too: documentation and coding are increasingly checked against a shared record. Clean data flowing into claims — and clean resubmissions flowing back — matter more in this environment.
